Iowa’s most popular golf tournament - the Cherokee Sioux Valley Amateur Men's Match-Play Championship - is teed up for its 90th year Saturday and Sunday at the venerable Cherokee Golf Course.
The $85 entry fee gets golfers 18 practice holes and 18 qualifying holes, plus ensuing tourney play for all qualifiers making the cut.

Sanford Museum and Planetarium

Permanent exhibits on the history and prehistory of Northwest Iowa. The West Gallery holds temporary exhibits on a variety of subjects. The Planetarium was the first in the state of Iowa and includes programs on the seasonal night sky. Programs available by appointment.
