Over 650 musicians and performers show up for this seven day event to perform on no less than ten stages from 9am to midnight every day. It's the largest gathering of acoustic performers and celebrities in the upper Midwest. There are also contests for beginners, jams for in-between, and workshops for the pros. The Rural Roots Music Commission make their annual "CD of the Year" awards. Themed programs and celebrities being inducted into America's Old Time Country Music Hall of Fame makes for an exciting week of traditional music fun.
