Event Details
Abilene Parks and Recreation will be partnering with Old Abilene Town for this years event. The evenings activities have been moved to Old Abilene Town.
Come one, come all dressed in your Halloween costume (or not) and join in the fun. Events will include the 3rd Annual Pet Costume Contest, Costume Contest, Hayrack rides, Free Hotdogs, Hot Chocolate and of course, The Great Pumpkin Hunt. This will be an evening that you will not want to miss. This is a FREE event!
Pet Costume Contest
Howl-Oween is going to the dogs, cats, snakes, guinea pigs, and other pets once again. The Abilene Parks & Recreation will be hosting a Pet Costume Contest for all our furry and not so furry friends. Dress your pet in their favorite costume and bring them to this adorable event.
Start Time 7:00 Open to all ages FREE
Hayrack Rides
Start at 6:30 p.m. Last ride will conclude t approximately 7:55 p.m. All ages will enjoy a lovely Autumn ride around Old Abilene Town.
Costume Contest
Costumes must be self-contained. Connections to electrical sockets will not be available. Keep it fun and G-Rated. Judges for the Costume Contest are not eligible for the Costume Contest.
Costume Contest starts at 7:30 p.m. Open to all ages.
Great Pumpkin Hunt
Bring a flashlight to find goodies in the dark in the field just east of Old Abilene Town.
