Annual Governor's Ringneck classic Pheasant Hunt. Friday night "Meet and Greet" dinner, raffle, auction. 6pm – 11pm

The town of Colby and surrounding community will host the hunt the third weekend of November. The community event will feature a variety of invited celebrities. Sport and entertainment personalities, business and educational leaders, artists, and other wildlife enthusiasts will join local guides to pursue the wily rooster pheasant!

A Friday night event is scheduled and billed as a meet and greet for area residents. The event, open to the public will provide an opportunity to join the Governor and his guests for dinner, a community drawing and live auction.

The Lone Star Presbyterian Church denotes the strong religious faith of the settlers. The Charming white country church was built in 1915 north of Gem, Kansas. In 1988, the building was moved to the museum site. It was the third time the building had been moved.
