Republic County sees tens of thousands of tourists each year for the fair that line up with the annual 305 Sprint Car Races on the World's Fastest Half Mile Dirt Track at the Belleville High Banks.

The Floral Hall has been a centerpiece of the event as it furnishes the display area for flowers, quilts, and handmade items on its two floors.

Besides the 4-H and FFA exhibits at the fair, there are open class livestock, horticulture, crafts, foods, floriculture and textile entries. The Art Gallery displays original art by members of the North Central Kansas Artists' Assn.
