Sweet Pea's Birthday Celebration

The Newport Aquarium is honoring one of its most special animals during the third annual Sweet Pea Birthday Celebration. This year the Aquarium will feature fun decorations, a new cake designed for special Sweet Pea dive shows, a giant card that children can sign at Kids Central, special animal encounters, crafts and much more.

On Saturday, April 12, in collaboration with Radio Disney AM 680 out of Louisville, Ky., the Newport Aquarium will create a celebration with "Hannah Montana"-themed games and activities in the Duke Energy Theater. Radio Disney will also be at the Aquarium on Saturday, April 19 to lead guests in "High School Musical 2" style.

On Saturday, April 19, the world-famous Chef Duff Goldman from the Ace of Cakes will unveil a 4-foot-long, life-like cake replica of Sweet Pea, the Shark Ray.
