Maine's largest agricultural fair features thrilling midway rides, over 100 live music and other stage acts, strolling performers, livestock shows and pulling contests, pig scrambles, harness racing, mechanical pulls, Ag Exhibition Center, Farm Museum, juried Craft Center, Specialty Foods Pavilion, Garden Center, Firemen's Muster (first Sunday), Woodsmen's Field Day (Monday), Grand Parade (Saturday), demonstrations, vendors, beer tents, favorite fair food and more.
The 8 pm Main Stage lineup includes 12/OC (Monday), Marshall Tucker Band (Tuesday), Niko Moon (Wednesday), The Great Escape (Thursday), Emily Ann Roberts followed by Fireworks Show (Friday), and Bad Habit (Saturday).
Fair admission: $15; free for kids under 12; free on Tuesday for ages 65 & older
Unlimited ride wristbands (for riders 36" & taller) are $25 Oct. 1-2; $30 Oct. 3,4,5,8; and online before Oct. 1 for $25 each or $80 for a 4-Pack. (Wristbands are not valid Friday or Saturday.)
Ride tickets, valid every day, are $1.50 each, $30/20 tickets, or $60/50 tickets + 1 free ride. (Rides take 2 or more tickets each.) Pre-sale special: $45/50 tickets + 1 free ride
Fair hours are 7 am-10 pm. The midway opens daily at 10 am.
