Event Details
A variety of activities and demonstration relating to wood and fiber will be presented today, including Fred Chellis, Windsor chairmaker; Bob & Chuck Perry, Streaked Mt. Woodcarvers; Bryant Taggart, woodturning; Larry Cable, electrolysis & antique padlocks; Jack Guzman, woodworking demo; and Paula Taggart, weaving on Durgin Barn loom. Activity Stations for Kids will be available from 11am-2pm and will includes activities such as weaving, spinning, papermaking, and more.
Also on this day, Maine Antique Power Association and Southern Maine Tractor Club members will display (and "fire up") engines and tractors.
The Village is open 10am to 5pm, 5 days each week, closed Tuesday and Wednesday, through Columbus Day. Admission is $9 for adults, $7.50 for seniors, $4 for students ages 6-18, and under 6 free.
