Carousel Rides and Blacksmithing Demonstration by Tom Otis.
Don't miss your last chance this season to ride the 1894 Armitage Herschell carousel Saturday, October 10! Every 30 minutes from 10:30 through 3:00, you'll have an opportunity to ride this historic form of entertainment. Originally a ride for adults, our carousel horses rock in place giving the allusion of riding on a real horse. You must be 10 years or older to ride on your own and your feet must firmly reach the stirrups. Rides are free as part of museum admission or rides only at $3 apiece. An adult must ride with anyone under the age of 10. Feet must reach the stirrups to be able to ride on a carousel horse alone.
The Village is open 10am to 5pm, 5 days each week, closed Tuesday and Wednesday, through Columbus Day.
