Event Details

Fire on the Mountain is an annual celebration of the art of the blacksmith that is always held on the last Saturday in April in Downtown Spruce Pine, NC. Blacksmithing has deep roots in Western North Carolina. The Fire on the Mountain Festival will both honor and celebrate its history and broaden awareness of quality contemporary iron work. Experience a day of forging techniques and ferrous materials. Vendors, hands-on opportunities, food, music and a Blacksmith Art Exhibition at the Toe River Arts Council. 10 am - 4 pm.

From I-40 take NC 221 to NC 226 N. Follow 226 N to Spruce Pine.
