Many of North America's best fiddlers compete for prize money and trophies. Workshops include opportunities for guitar players. Food and fun.The weekend concludes with a nationally-certified fiddle contest with categories for all ages and abilities, with cash prizes awarded. There is no entry fee to enter the fiddle contest. Winners in each category are eligible to compete in the National Old-Time Fiddle Contest in Wesier, Idaho, a few weeks later. On Friday, June 9, Mark Sulivan, Michelle Schettler, Adam Granger, and others will perform in a special concert at the Burdick Center for the Performing Arts on the International Music Camp campus. The concert is open to the public; an admission charge applies. Registrations are now being accepted for the 2006 Workshops and Contest (June 8-10, 2006).
