Parvin State Park Appreciation Committee is planning its Annual Halloween Event. The event is operated by Committee members and volunteers. All proceeds benefit the park with improvements and support to park programs.
The event runs from 7 to 11 PM at Parvin Grove Main Beach Complex, 701 Almond Road. Ticket sales start at 6:30 PM. The hayride begins at the Main Beach Complex and travels to Fisherman?s Landing! The half-mile haunted walk with eerie effects begins at Fisherman?s Landing; proceeding along a creepy trail by Parvin Lake, across a haunted bridge, by a spooky gazebo wedding and ending back at the main beach complex! View a Halloween horror movie while waiting your turn! Refreshments will be on sale. Tickets are $10 per person, ages 10 and over (no refunds). Children under the age of 10 can attend for free, but the event is RECOMMENDED FOR AGES 10 AND UP!
On Saturday,October 27th the Committee will sponsor its 9th Annual Family Campsite and Cabin Decorating Contest. Judging begins at 7 PM and prizes will be awarded for 1st & 2nd place winners in each area. You must be registered at a family campsite or cabin to participate.
