No need to travel all the way to Germany to experience Oktoberfest! The unique alpine feel of Red River will give you the full Oktoberfest experience without the cost of a trip.
Come to Red River and enjoy Oktoberfest in our cool little mountain town! This year's Oktoberfest will be held in Brandenburg Park, which is located in the center of beautiful Red River. Friday is "Beer Judging" day, Saturday is "College Day", and Sunday is the "Last Call for Fall".
Microbreweries from around the region gather in Red River to participate in Oktoberfest, an event like no other! Last year the beer tasting contest was a huge success, so we will once again have the contest with the following categories: Best Lager, Best Amber, and People’s Choice.
Our Oktoberfest offers traditional German music, food, micro beer, a Ms. Oktoberfest contest, stein holding, brat eating contests, yodeling, and art and crafts vendors. Every year the festival draws huge crowds from all over the Southwest and has become a must to experience!
$5 admission fee and you can buy your commemorative taster mug or stein when you get to the park. Gates are open from, 10am to 6pm on Friday & Saturday, and from, 10am to 4pm on Sunday.
For more event information or for a lodging list please contact the Red River Chamber of Commerce at 800-348-6444 x 1 or log on to our website.
We look forward to seeing you in Red River for Oktoberfest!
