RiverFest, presented by the Outdoor Source and the Greenways Program of the Mid-Ohio Regional Planning Commission, is an annual celebration of Central Ohio?s rivers and waterways educating the public about the vital role waterways play in our environment. Have fun with a day filled with boating for the whole family, a rock climbing wall, arts and crafts for the kids, live music, food and much more. Come out and enjoy the complimentary attractions in the beautiful North Bank Park in Downtown Columbus. The Greenways Program organizes RiverFest to further its mission of facilitating restoration, preservation and enhancement of Franklin County's stream system through informed, proactive community based watershed protection groups. Riverfest has been held annually since 1999. All benefit daily from the resources our creeks and rivers provide?from drinking water to wildlife shelter to recreation. Join Greenways and The Outdoor Source in fun, festive and educational activities for all ages! Riverfest will take place rain or shine.
