Historic Women’s Club Home Presents The Ladies Tea with Mary Ellen Withrow The topic will be “A Day in Washington”, the politics, protocol and parties she was part of during her tenure as Secretary of the Treasury under President Bill Clinton from March 1, 1994 to January 20, 2001.
The event is scheduled for Thursday, June 11th from 6-8 p.m. refreshments will be served and ladies are encouraged to bring a vintage purse for display and conversation. The cost is $10 and all proceeds support the philanthropic and scholarship funds of the Historic Women’s Club Home. The HWCH is located at 1126 E. center St. in Marion.
