The Shay Locomotive Display
A restored narrow-gauge geared locomotive, known as the Shay Locomotive, was built in 1925 by the Lima Locomotive Works and is located at the Allen County Museum Complex.
For a period of almost 70 years, the Lima Locomotive Works built 2,761 Shay locomotives, the last in 1945
