Old Settlers Day and Parade

SECOND SATURDAY - The citizens of Checotah extend a hardy welcome to all visitors of our town for the annual celebration of Old Settler's Day. We know you'll enjoy day-long activities in the downtown area, a street dance at night, a parade on Saturday afternoon, antique car competition, games, and three days of rodeo performances at the Checotah Roundup Club arena.

Enjoy Old Settler's Day to its fullest - take in the craft and food booths downtown, visit our local merchants throughout the city, and take the kids to the carnival at the high school parking lot. It's a great way to spend a summer day! 9am-6pm.
