LAST SATURDAY - Annual activities include a carnival, parade, street dance, live entertainment, games and contests. Several groups in town offer a variety of entertainment, including a gospel singing in the Farmers Market Thursday night, a Talent show at Crystal Theater on Saturday night, a golf tournament, and a Beauty Pageant the weekend prior to Pioneer Day. In addition there are always numerous reunions, a horseshoe tournament in Noble Park, and the annual the Hall of Fame Banquet sponsored by the Okemah Chamber of Commerce. There is always plenty of food and activities for all. Everyone is encouraged to get involved and have fun!

Come browse through the many arts and crafts booths located on the downtown sidewalks on Saturday. You're sure to find something to delight your taste buds among the large variety of foods available on Pioneer Day. Food vendors are located in the Farmers Market on Main Street.

Applications for Arts & Crafts Booths or for Food Vendor Booths are available at the Chamber of Commerce. Pioneer Day is a great opportunity for churches and civic groups to have a fundraiser. Anyone planning to have a booth needs to contact the Chamber of Commerce for rates and locations.

If you are interested in entering a float in the parade, please register with the Chamber. Anyone interested in riding in the parade or participating in any way should contact the Chamber.
