The Great Salt Plains Birding & Crystal Festival will be April 21 & 22.

Some of the fun activities will include a free movie outside under the stars on Friday at dusk, a town wide garage sale all weekend long, & on Saturday from 9am-1pm go digging for crystals at the Crystal Digging site south of Cherokee along with a new Mobile unit for kids to explore!!

Bird lovers will enjoy a variety of bird watching out at the Salt Plains National Wildlife Refuge. Prizes will be awarded after the crystal dig!!
