Event Details

July 4th is a great day of Celebration in Cherokee, Oklahoma! A Fireworks Extravaganza will be held at dark; the day, however, begins much earlier at the City Park, 802 East 2nd.

Horseshoes, Cotton Candy, parade, face painting, train ride, pet contests, games, watermelon, annual Hamburger Fry, live entertainment, turtle races, homemade ice cream, drawings for lots and lots of prizes donated by area merchants.

Everyone is encouraged to make it a family day full of Old Fashioned Fun on the Fourth as well as a Celebration of a Bountiful Harvest.
