Event Details
.....bidding summer goodbye and welcoming fall, Whea Esta has long brought the community together for a celebration of Okeene's harvest. Enjoy the quaint community of Okeene by participating in the Wheat Walk, entering an exhibit, play fun water games or spit some watermelon seeds. This is the first year to include a BBQ Cook-off with fantastic prizes. The children can enjoy the petting zoo, jump on the inflatable Moonwalk and slide or learn something new from our variety of demonstrations: Smoothies in a bag, Bread making, Tortillas making or pickling. The Ag Boosters put on an excellent Indian Taco dinner just before our Whea Esta pageant on Saturday night where we will crown our new Whea Esta Queen for the coming year.
