Jan Dils, a law firm in West Virginia, is hosting the 20th year of our Golden Apple Awards. There are many wonderful teachers who tirelessly work to ensure our students thrive and receive a quality education. This is why we want to recognize a deserving teacher and express our gratitude for their dedication to their students and their students' families. We will be accepting nominations each month throughout the 2025 year and will be selecting a winner each month.

July 29th at 6:30 pm board a Sternwheeler for a three hour Island frolic. Enjoy the sunset, bicycle rides for children, narrated horse-drawn wagon rides, and a picnic of hotdogs, chips and drinks. This tour is also offered August 11 and 25. Reservations are required.

August 18th at 6:30 pm board a Sternwheeler for a three hour Island frolic. You may have the best seat on the Ohio River to view Parkersburg's homecoming fireworks display. Reservations are required.

Around 100 employers and schools will be participating. 4:00p.m. to 8:00p.m. Food will be provided by the Family Readiness Group. Entertainment 249th Army Band. Door prizes, miniature C130 Hercules aircraft will take children for rides in the parking lot.
