29 - 31 Tombstone Rose Festival - Held in remembrance of Nellie Cashman, Tombstone's Angel of the Mining Camp, and the World's largest Rose Bush, which is listed in the Guinness Book of World Records as being over 8,000 square feet. The celebration, sponsored by the Tombstone Chamber of Commerce, features a fashion show by the Tombstone Vigilante's, a picnic basket raffle, a parade and an appearance by the Rose Queen.

4 Family Style 4th of July Weekend - A traditional celebration of our Nation's birthday, features a barbecue by the Tombstone American Legion and an hour-long fireworks display, sponsored by the Tombstone Lions Club.

Starting at 8:00 a.m.: Softball Tournament, Presenting of the Colors, & Renegade Gem and Mineral Show begins, Pet Costume Contest & Merchants Fashion Show begins, Water Balloon Toss, Pie Eating Contest, Whip Cracking Demonstration, Steve Troncale Lecture, Stick Horse Race, Pet Costume Awards, Watermelon Eating Contest, & Water Bucket Relay Race.

23 - 25 Showdown in Tombstone - Sponsored every Labor Day Weekend by the Tombstone Vigilantes, Gun Fighting Groups throughout the U.S. gather in Tombstone to perform in the Streets. Activities include costume contest and a parade on Sunday.

Come see us Saturday through Monday. There will be street entertainment from 10:00AM to 4:00PM daily. There will be two street locations as with last year. The first one between 4th and 5th Streets on Allen St, and the second between 5th and 6th Streets, also on Allen St.

We will be selling our world famous Tombstone Vigilante shirts. And of course, our Most Infamous "Hanging Tree" will be up and running.

We expect to have the Steampunk costume contest, parade and ball again this year. This has not been finalized yet.

We expect to have the Tombstone Vigilettes' 1880's costume contest and parade again this year. This has not been finalized yet either.

Meet and greet Friday night, approximately 6:30PM or so at the 4 Deuces, 3rd and Allen.

Auctions throughout the weekend, whenever the time suits us.

We will be raffling off a single Rossi Model 92, .45cal long colt lever action rifle and display case, as part of Vigilante Days and the Showdown In Tombstone. Tickets will be on sale both weekends at $1.00 a chance or 6 changes for $5.00. The drawing will be held about 3:30PM on Monday.

We will also be raffling off another beautiful piece of ladies jewelry donated by Arlene's, 400-402 E Allen St, Tombstone, AZ, as part of Vigilante Days and the Showdown In Tombstone. 7 - 8 Territorial Days - A Celebration of Arizona’s Military and Cultural History 1863-1912

Save the date for Tombstone, AZ’s newest event weekend. Come to Tombstone for a unique living history weekend featuring cultural, educational and entertaining activities centered around Arizona’s Territorial period 1863-1912.

Saturday, immerse yourself and your family in a living history camp filled with soldiers of the Territorial period. Experience the sights, sounds and smells of military life on the frontier. The Arizona Territorial Baseball League will be playing a demonstration game. Watch as the different military company’s compete in a drill competition on Historic Allen Street. Grab yourself a plate of the finest chuck wagon food as five chuck wagons compete for the title of best cook. Listen to Lee Anderson atop his wonder horse Concho, of the Arizona Historical Society, as he speaks on life on the frontier. Many other speakers and authors will be present at various locations to speak on various topics of historic interest. If you are so inclined gather your finest garments and join us at the Military Ball to round out your evening, period attire required, 16 and up, there is a fee for the Ball.

Sunday, check out the military encampment and stay for the non-motorized parade on Historic Allen Street at 11:00a.m. After enjoy the skillful dancing of La Paloma Ballet Folklorico of Tucson, AZ, as they perform the dances of the States of Mexico. Enjoy lectures and more military drills as we round out the weekend.

11 - 13 Helldorado Days - In July 1881, a disgruntled miner writes the Tombstone Nugget newspaper stating that instead of finding their "eldorado" of riches, many men ended up washing dishes or other menial jobs, finding instead, their "Helldorado". The term stuck. Helldorado is Tombstone's oldest festival celebrating its rip-roaring days of the 1880's. Helldorado, started in 1929, is sponsored by Helldorado, Inc. whose membership is composed of residents in Cochise County. Helldorado is held every third Friday - Sunday in October and consists of gunfight re-enactment shows, Indian dancers, a chili cook-off, fashion shows and a variety show, sponsored by the Tombstone Vigilantes, in addition to the Annual Helldorado Parade. 10a-4p.
