6 Easter Egg Hunt - Saturday before Easter - This Alma Chamber of Commerce event is held at the Wabaunsee County Courthouse lawn. Children up to age 8 are divided into age groups and enjoy hunting for eggs. Each child is given a sack of candy from the Easter Bunny. The sack includes a list of businesses that the children can visit to receive an additional Easter gift.

27 - 21 City-Wide Garage Sales Days and German Meal - The event started in 1990 and each year there have been at least 50 garage sales. The Chamber holds a German meal, which features bierocks, bratwurts and polish sausage in conjunction with the garage sales. Come enjoy a great German Meal in the beautiful Flint Hills and check out all the garage sale bargains. Second Saturday in October - This is an Alma Chamber of Commerce sponsored event.

20 Native Stone Festival,Spring Muligan & 5K Run/Walk - This event is sponsored by the Alma Chamber of Commerce. A Muligan, which is similar to a vegetable stew, is a tradition unique to this area. Old timers would get together and bring whatever they had and would put it all together. The concoction would then be cooked in a large pot over an open fire. Everyone wishing to attend is encouraged to bring a saucepan to eat out of. The 5K Walk/Run, taking place in the beautiful Flint Hills, is open to everyone. Free live entertainment is also featured at the mulligan. Come join us for great food and great entertainment

4 Old Fashioned 4th of July Celebration - Features an old-timers baseball game in the early evening, visiting, meal, free homemade ice cream social, and beautiful fireworks at dark. There is a small charge for the meal, with the remaining events, compliments of the Alma Chamber of Commerce. 4:00 PM to 10:00 PM

19 - 23 Wabaunsee County 4-H Fair - The fair is a day of fun and excitement for the entire family. Start with the rides and move on to the entertainment and the agricultural exhibits and the animals. Make sure you leave room for the food booths!

17KS0114002e013 - Alma Hot Alma Nights - Come out and enjoy an old-fashioned Saturday night in the Flint Hills. Saturdays were the "social" event of the small towns years ago. You can experience that again in Alma, Kansas, at the Hot Alma Nights cruise and car show. 10:00 AM to 11:55 PM., always the 3rd Saturday in August.

Bring your classic car, park on Main Street and listen to the "oldies" while you stroll the streets of Alma. Renew old friendships and make new ones. Shop downtown Alma or visit the Wabaunsee County Historical Museum. Vendors will be set up in the park offering food and other merchandise.

22 Native Stone Festival - The Native Stone Festival will be held on Sunday with a 2 mile Fun Run/Walk at 1:00. Get your registration in early to be guaranteed a fabulous shirt!! Mulligan will be serving at noon. Entertainment this year will be provided by the local Bluegrass Jam Session group! We are so excited and can't wait to hear them play!! 30 Santa Comes to Town - This Chamber sponsored event is a must for the whole family. Activities begin in the afternoon, with local businesses being open for Christmas shopping. Santa arrives at 5:00 to get all the children's wish lists. A chamber sponsored soup supper is held in conjunction with Santa coming to town. The evening is topped off with sleigh rides via a 5th wheel trailer to enjoy the Christmas lights and view the best decorated homes in Alma. Second Saturday in December.
