8 - 9 Kansas CMSA Kingman Double Points Shootout! - If you are looking for some Western excitement this weekend, then come on down to Kingman County Activity Center Arena where the West is wild and woolly. We're talking about the Kansas Cowboy Mounted Shooting Association, the local chapter of the Cowboy Mounted Shooting Association (CMSA), as they host their Kingman Double Points Shootout competition. Here, you'll see some of the area's top horses and riders compete in a non-stop, high-speed, action riding and shooting contest that will really thrill you all the way down to your boots!

New riders are welcome! You can join the CMSA and the Kansas CMSA right here!

KS0205011e011 - Kingman Cattleman's Pro Rodeo - Cattleman's RodeoKingman Cattleman's Rodeo and picnic was first held in 1899 as an all day event drawing close to 14,000 people to the picnic and rodeo.

Since then the rodeo has become a two-day event held in May. They joined the PRCA in 1987 and hold events such as bull riding, calf roping, saddle bronc and bareback, bulldogging, team roping, and barrel racing.

The rodeo ground are located on the west side of Riverside park in South Kingman.
