11 - 13 Mohican Wildlife Weekend - The Annual Mohican Wildlife Weekend is a celebration of wildlife habitat, heritage, and natural history. Many sites in Ashland and Richland Counties offer fun-filled and educational programs for the beginner as well as the experienced naturalist. Enjoy bird walks, childrens' programs, crafts, fly fishing demonstrations, wagon tours, and much more.

4 Ohio Dreams Action Sports Contest - Ohio Dreams will host an Action Sports Contest featuring a Big Air contest for Skiers and Snowboarders using our Powder Pack summer ski surface and our specially designed aerated pool.  We will also have contests in BMX, Aggressive Inline and Skateboarding using our 43,000 sq ft of ramps built by X-Game designer, Mr. Nate Wessel.

13 - 21 Annual Prairie Peddler Festival - Over 170 traditional and modern craftsmen demonstrate and sell their handmade items in a beautiful wooded late 1800's setting. Watch and listen to talented artisans show and explain the process of their handmade masterpieces. Enjoy and take home excellent homemade food, snacks and desserts prepared over open fires. Live continuous musical entertainment on four stages throughout the festival.  Kids activities include face painting, magic shows, hands-on crafting (benefiting the Ronald McDonald House), a petting zoo, pony rides and a horse drawn wagon ride through the woods.

18 A Walk In The Past - Mohican Outdoor School will host their annual Walk In the Past from 12:00-4:00 PM. Step back in time and experience life in Ohio during the early 1800's. There will be hands on learning stations for the family: Tomahawk Throwing, pioneer cooking, nature dyes, goats, rabbits, and more. 12:00 PM will be a musket demonstration, at 1:00 and 3:00 PM Living History skits, 2:00 PM will be storytelling and hammer dulcimer music. There will be Cornbread, beans, apple butter and apple cider for an extra cost.
