30 Star Spangled Spectacular at Corporate Woods - One of the biggest and best fireworks displays in the metropolitan area takes place at Corporate Woods office park at this Annual 4th of July celebration sponsored by Corporate Woods office park, the Overland Park Rotary Club, and the City of Overland Park.

Food, drink and merchandise vendors are on hand and musical acts perform before the fireworks begin at approximately 9:30 p.m.

All proceeds generated from this free event benefit local charities. Hours are from 4 to 11 p.m. Rain Date will be July 5th!

7 Real Bikers Wear Pink Motorcycle Ride for Breast Cancer Research - Real Bikers Wear Pink will host the annual ride on Sunday, July 21, 2013. Registration/check-in will begin at 8am. Come and enjoy a pink pancake breakfast from Chris Cakes! Then, the ride will leave from the parking lot of Sam's Club in Overland Park, on 135th Street, 2 blocks west of 69 Highway at 9am. The route is approximately 100 scenic miles through Johnson County and a little piece of northern Miami County - all in Kansas. There are gas stations along the way and we've incorporated some of the most interesting roads in the area. T.A.P.S. of KC will be providing an escort all the way! We''ll also be stopping mid-ride to enjoy a break. The ride will end in southern Johnson County. Then kick back, enjoy some lunch, great companionship and great raffle prizes! Your registration donation of $30 also gets you a very collectible, commemorative Real Bikers Wear Pink T-shirt. Once again this year, there will be ride patches (while supplies last) thanks to Absolute Awards! While breast cancer is more prevalent in females, it is an "equal opportunity" disease - and so is this ride. So, Ladies and Gentlemen, please join us for our seventh ride this summer.

6 - 7 Annual Kansas Regional Amputee Golf Tournament - The Overland Park Golf Club will play host to the Annual Kansas Regional Amputee Golf Tournament, known throughout the metro as the "last great tournament of the season!" Proceeds from the event will benefit Buddie's Buddies, a non-profit charitable organization whose purpose is to enhance the personal and physical growth of our participants who are mentally and physically challenged.
