21 Miss Angel Pageant - Be published in several national magazines, get on the news, see yourself in the newspaper, ride in parades, meet the Governor... Don't you want to be an Angel?

The Miss Angel Pageant is a benefit pageant. We crown representatives of Wiregrass Angel House! Wiregrass Angel House is a victim's rights organization. We host a state wide Governor's Conference for law enforcement along with multiple candelight vigils throughout the state.

2 Spring Farm Day - Turn back the clock 100 years and experience living history demonstrations of sheep shearing, blacksmithing, plowing with draft animals, basket-weaving, quilting, and other spring farm activities. Entertainment will include an "Old-Time Fiddlers Convention" and the "Alabama State Horse and Mule Plowing Contest." 10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.

29 - 30 Tri-State BBQ Festival - Come out to the annual Tri-State BBQ Festival and enjoy some new attractions and expanded hours! Friday night street dance with lots of fun, DJ, food and drinks and time to meet the 50+ BBQ teams who are competing for thousands of $$ in prize money!
Saturday more family fun with free kids activities, shows, cooking classes, and sampling opportunities in the afternoon. BBQ Teams awards at 5pm then wrap up Saturday night with a concert and more fun on the old midway at the Farm Center.

20 American Heart Association - As the signature fund-raising event for the American Heart Association, the Heart Walk promotes physical activity and heart-healthy living in a fun family environment. 24 - 25 Wiregrass Annual Model Railroad Show and Sale - More than 150 tables of model railroad equipment and supplies offered by vendors from throughout the Southeast. Several large operating model railroad layouts on display. Door prizes and concessions. 24 Victorian Christmas - Warm up to some holiday hospitality during an afternoon centered on the pleasures' of Christmas past. Visitors are invited to sample turn-of-the-century desserts and sip hot chocolate or mulled cider while children try their hands at making traditional Christmas decorations. A circuit-riding preacher will arrive on horseback to deliver a Christmas message at the church. Arts and crafts, holiday music, wagon rides and more. Free admission, visitors are encouraged to bring a nonperishable food item for donation to the Wiregrass Area United Way Food Bank. 1:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.
