Summer Shootout Series - Charlotte Motor Speedway hosts the Summer Shootout Series during June and July. In addition to a full program of Legend Car and Bandolero racing, the Summer Shootout Series includes special attractions, such as school bus race nights and a huge Fireworks Extravaganza Night! Racing action takes place under the lights on the quarter-mile oval located on the speedway's front straightaway. June and July.

The stars of the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series do battle in stock car racing’s true endurance test. 13 Hispanic Learning Center's International Festival - We are happy to announce the annual International Festival held in Concord, North Carolina on Sunday from 12:00 pm until 6:00 pm. Hosted by the HLC, this free festival will feature music, games, ethnic food, fun, and interesting activities for people of all ages. The location will be in the Heart of Concord primarily on Union Street situated between Cabarrus Avenue and Corbin Avenue. Proceeds from this event will go to help support the Hispanic Learning Center of Cabarrus County. The HLC is a non-profit center for community improvement that targets primarily low income/poverty Hispanic people but is open to anyone with a desire to improve their learning.
