9 - 10OH0404010e027 - Mentor Annual KidShow - Designed to get good information into busy parents' hands, this two-day free event also offers a wonderful opportunity to spend endless hours of activity and fun with the family. Entertainment is huge during the KidShow weekend with performances every half hour on the stage in front of Macy's.

Along with stage entertainment there are plenty of things to do. Daily activities include exhibitors up and down the mall, play area and inflatables, "The Kids Counter" featuring interactive activities like cookie decorating with Eat'nPark and Mrs. Field's and a coloring contest, face painting, costume characters, on-going trivia for prizes from the stage, and impromptu snack attacks on stage - free snacks for everyone!

On Saturday ONLY, be one of the first 500 families to register at the Registration Center at the top of the Food Court and receive a free goody bag stuffed with information and discounts along with samples and some surprises! One lucky family will find a red envelope in their goody bag and will win a set of five Family Four Packs courtesy of the Lake County Captains!

16 Wildwood Fine Arts & Crafts Festival - This is an outdoor, juried lawn show featuring more than 50 fine artists and fine crafters. Entertainment, refreshments and a wide variety of artists and crafters makes this one of the best festivals in the area. 10:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.

4 Festival on the Lagoons - Annual festival on the water with clowns, jugglers, storytellers, and many free, family friendly activities. Enjoy a ride through the Lagoons aboard a 72-foot U.S. Navy Landing Craft, or take a hayride through the 450-acre nature preserve.

Other activities include kayak rides, huge arts & crafts sale, inflatable fun rides, sand sculpting contest, kid's treasure hunt, guided nature walks, nautical displays, live music and so much more!

21 - 19 Mentor Farmers Market - It's the annual market with a festival atmosphere! Sure you'll find fresh produce, but you can also shop for arts and crafts, enjoy some great refreshments and be entertained by musicians and strolling performers. Bring the family

4 Independence Day Concert and Fireworks - This is a family event. Come early, enjoy the free entertainment and stay for the biggest fireworks display in Lake County, which starts at about 9:50 p.m. Live music begins at 6:30 p.m. Strolling performers entertain the whole family and inflatables are available for the children to enjoy. Bring your lawn chairs or blankets. Parking at Civic Center Park, Mentor High School, or at Market Street and Hopkins Road.

3 Mentor Cruise In - The biggest gathering of pre-1980 cars in the area. More than 1,000 cars congregate in the parking lots and throughout the grounds of Civic Center Park. Free admission. Refreshments available. 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Trophies will be presented to this year’s favorite cars. First arrivals* will receive goodie bags and dash plaques. Door Prizes will be awarded throughout the event.

In person registration begins on site at 8 a.m. However, no vehicles will be admitted before 8 a.m. No pets, alcohol, roller blades or bicycles will be allowed.

16 - 17 Mentor CityFest - TWO Days – One BIG Event! Mark your calendar for the biggest two-day event in northeast Ohio! More than 25,000 people attended this family-oriented, active event last year. We’re working to bring exciting features to this year’s festival.
