Keosauqua Lions Fourth of July Celebration
- Celebrate with fireworks at dusck over the Des Moines River. Pancake & Sausage Breakfast under the Lions tent in the park served 7 am - 10:30 am. Lunch served in the Lions tent beginning at 11 am. Kids Pedal Pull at 12:30 pm, sign up at noon. Kids games at 2 pm in the City Park. Balloon Tent at 2 pm. Bingo at the Senior Center starts at 2 pm. Kids Silver Mine at 4 pm. Riverfront Stage Shows begin at 6:30 pm with the Harvest Band and the Nauvoo Pageant Bagpipe Band & Dancers performing during breaks. Address: City Park , Keosauqua, Iowa |

3 Crazy Buck'n Bulls Rodeo
- Held at the Keosauqua Fairgrounds in conjunction with the Van Buren County Fair. Rodeo starts at 7 pm with Mutton Bustin starting at 6 pm. Top six Mutton Bustin riders will ride during rodeo. Events at rodeo to include: Mutton Bustin, Steer Riding, Jr. Bull Riding, Bull Riding, & Barrel Racing. Autographs from the bull fighters will be available after the rodeo. Scenic Drive Festival
- The Scenic Drive Festival is our largest festival of the year that is held during the peak of our spectacular fall foliage season, the second full weekend of October. Keosauqua will be bustling with activities both Saturday & Sunday 9am-5pm. The festival begins both days with the Keosauqua Lions serving an all-you-can-eat Pancake & Sausage breakfast beginning at 6:30am-11am. Cost is $6 and is held under the big tent in the City Park. The Keosauqua Rotary sponsors the annual Grand Parade on Saturday which begins at 10am (line-up at High School begins at 9am). This years parade theme: Building Communities. Inflatable kids games and petting zoo will be in the downtown area. Van Buren County Cattlemen will begin serving lunch under the big tent in the City Park at 11am. The Keosauqua Library will hold their annual book sale with hundreds of books available for a free will offering. The Iowa Cow Dog Trials will begin at 9am (Hwy. 1 N. of Keosauqua) This is the largest 2-day cattle dog trial in the Midwest. No admission fee. Come see these amazing dogs in action! Local area wineries will offer wine tastings and sales in the grassy lot across from Wasko Hardware (Front St. & Dodge St.) On Saturday night, Our Saviors Lutheran Church (Hwy. 1 N.) will host their annual Soup Supper beginning at 7pm. Homemade soups, sandwiches, desserts & drinks. Free will donation. Also on Saturday night at 7pm at the Van Buren County Fairgrounds (Hwy. 1 N.) ...3 Crazy Buck n' Bulls Rodeo! Sure to be a great time with muttin' bustin' at 6pm. Events include: steer riding, junior bull riding, bull riding and barrel racing. Call-in for rodeo held Monday Oct. 4, 6-9pm. Also on Sunday, the Fall Festival Car, Truck & Motorcycle Show from 12p-3pm. Registration will be held 10am-12pm. The best classic & unique cars, trucks, hot rods & motorcycles in the area!
