29 - 31 Aaron's Dream Weekend - Catch the exciting racing action of the NASCAR NEXTEL Cup Series and the NASCAR Busch Series during Aaron's Dream Weekend at Talladega Superspeedway, NASCAR's Most Competitive Track. On track activity begins Thursday, with qualifying for the NASCAR Busch Series. On Friday, NASCAR NEXTEL Cup Series competitors will qualifying their cars during The Birmingham News/Birmingham Post-Herald Qualifying Day. Saturday will feature the Aaron's 312 NASCAR Busch Series race, followed by the Aaron's 499 NASCAR NEXTEL Cup Series race on Sunday. To order tickets, call 1-877-Go2-DEGA or order online.

4 Annual International Motorsports Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony - International Motorsports Hall of Fame--Dale Earnhardt, Harry Gant, Janet Guthrie, Jack Roush and Humpy Wheeler will be inducted, and the Annual Driver of the Year will be honored also. It is a formal, black-tie evening that includes a dinner and the televised induction ceremony, with receptions before and after. 5:30-10:30 p.m.

5 Annual Race Fever Auction & BBQ - Live and silent auction featuring many rare items donated by racing stars. Popular NASCAR and Busch drivers attend the BBQ and autograph session. Sponsored by the Alabama Institute for Deaf and Blind Foundation to benefit the disabled children of the Alabama School for the Deaf, Alabama School for the Blind and the Helen Keller School of Alabama. 5-9:30 p.m.

7 - 9 Cheahas Mountain State Park Arts & Crafts Festival, Chili Cook-Off - Wind your way up to the top of the tallest mountain in Alabama to enjoy a day of arts, crafts, and delicious treats. The grand finale! A spooky Saturday night campfire storytelling guaranteed to put shivers up your spine! Learn about Alabama's finest spooks, legends and folklore from Renee Morrison who has been influenced by ghost story tellers such as Katherine Tucker Windham. Renee uses live animals to enhance her programs.
