2 Masonic And Eastern Star Ball ( Prince Hall) - Masonic and Eastern Star Ball hosted by the Mount Nebo Chapter #710 of Tuskegee, will be held Friday, 6:00PM at The Washington Chapel Parish House.

The Ball is a Formal Event. Stars are asked to wear Red and White and Brothers Black and White. 20 George Washington Carver Arts & Crafts Festival - The Carver Festival, co-sponsored by the Tuskegee Area Chamber of Commerce, is a multi-faceted event celebrating the life and works of Dr. George Washington Carver. Held annually in downtown Tuskegee on the City Square and North Main Street the Saturday prior to Mother's Day. Artisans display their handicrafts... From quilts to canvas, earrings to African artifacts. Jazz and blues musicians keep the crowds moving. Tots enjoy petting zoos and kiddie rides, cotton candy and snow cones.

25 - 27 Memorial Day Fly-In - MEMORIAL DAY FLY-IN, is a three day event sponsored by Negro airmen International (NAI) held every Memorial Day Holiday weekend at Moton field. The fly-In features Black Pilots from virtually every one of the continental United States who participate in: aviation safety seminars, competitive navigation, pylon racing, balloon bursting, aerobatic demonstrations and networking.

28 Carver Sweet Potato Growers Arts and Crafts Assn. Festival - Celebrate the nutritional value of the sweet potato and its impact on Alabama's agriculture industry. The festival Commemorates the memory of Dr. George Washington Carver and his sweet potato research. Sweet potato growers gather to share cultivation tips, showcase new products, enter their products in competition, and... yes, to sell sweet potatoes.
