14 - 17 Johnson County Fair - The Johnson County Fair is a non-profit organization that began in 1897 and is committed to providing a fun, family-oriented atmosphere. Parade on Saturday, entertainment, pageants, pet show, and livestock.

The fair parade will be held Saturday at 7 p.m.. The parade will begin at Clarksville Light and Water Operations Building across from El Parian on Highway 64. The parade will end at the fairgrounds. Pageant winners, area queens, state officials, fair royalty, parade marshal and honored guests are encouraged to attend. Any farm equipment, tractors, trucks, floats, antique vehicles, cars or trucks are very welcome, as well as, horses, wagons and stage coaches. NO cattle drive through town can be allowed.

24 Broken Sword Triathlon (Sprint) - The Broken Sword Triathlon is a premier event hosted in Clarksville, AR, in the heart of the River Valley. It has quickly become one of the largest Sprint Triathlons in the State of Arkansas. This event is known for its fast course, beautiful setting, and adaptability to all skill levels.
The BST offers registration to individual competitors or a 3-person team relay.

The BST begins with a beach start at Lake Ludwig (500m), transitioning to cycling down the mountainous and scenic Highway 21 into the City of Clarksville (15.3 mi). The run portion picks up on the Spadra Nature Trail. (3.1 mi). This is a USA Triathlon-sanctioned event.

18 - 19 Annual Fall Old Time Country Music Show - Annual Fall Old Time Country Music Show at Country Heritage Music Barn, featuring, from Nashville, Tennessee: The Tennessee Mafia Jug Band (Sat. only), Bill & Vickie Sky (Fri. only), and resonator guitarist Johnny Bellar (both evenings). Shows start at 6 pm both nights. Indoor, temperature controlled theater with seating for approximately 300. Concession stand. Discounted advance tickets available at our website. This will be the Tennessee Mafia Jug Band's first appearance in Arkansas. Johnny Bellar will also be offering a 1 hour Dobro workshop Sat. at 10 a.m. Cost is $35 per student, and if there is sufficient interest, he will do a second hour. Check our website for details.
