31 - 1 Lum n' Abner Festival - Mena's signature event, the Annual Lum & Abner Music & Arts Festival is the first weekend in June at Janssen Park in Mena, Arkansas. Live entertainment is a huge part of the event as it runs all day both days of the festival.

In addition to live entertainment, enjoy wonderful arts and crafts, great food, a beer garden, the awesome Lum & Abner Car, Truck, and Motorcycle Show, Kiddie Korner with playground and bounce houses, the Lum & Abner 5K Run/Walk, the Lum & Abner 3 on 3 Basketball Tournament, Fishing Derbies, the RE/MAX Baby Crawlin' Contest, Canines in the Clouds and more!

6 Annual Chamber of Commerce Fireworks Display - Come out to Tapley Park, as we light up the sky with a fireworks celebration! In addition to the fireworks there will be live entertainment, great food, and activities for the kids.

Grab your blankets, friends, and family and be awed by this incredible spectacle of fireworks. Festivities will kick off at 5:00 p.m. with bouncy houses, concessions, youth firefighter games and more. Live entertainment begins at 8:00pm. The fireworks display will begin around 9:30 p.m. This family-friendly, free event is brought to you by The Mena Advertising and Promotion Commission.

23 - 25 Annual Queen Wilhelmina Rod Run - Join in the fun as 200 street rods and hot rods descend on the small quaint town of Mena, Arkansas in the Ouachita Mountains. Restored and modified hot rods will be displayed in the park campground by clubs and individuals. Hear the low growl of the engines and see your reflection in the spit-shined exteriors.

You won't want to miss out on this 3-Day event, complete with a street dance on the main drag. The winding mountain road leading up to Queen Wilhelmina Lodge, our "Castle in the Sky", will put your car and your driving through its paces. We offer three chances to Show-N-Shine, and numerous prizes and trophies. 46 years running and not slowing down yet.

23 - 24 Annual Mountainfest Arts & Crafts Show - This craft show exclusive to authentic handcrafters brings thousands and thousands to Mena each year. The event hosts 100 handcrafters from across the south and is a favorite among all. Good music and good food, too! Sponsored by Ouachita Arts & Craft Guild of Mena.
