14 Alzheimer's Arkansas Walk in Pocahontas - Fundraising Walk to benefit Alzheimer's Arkansas, a non-profit organization that provides programs and services to Arkansans and their families who are affected by Alzheimer's Disease. Saturday, October 4. Registration begins at 9:00 a.m. and the Walk begins at 10:00 a.m. in Riverfront Park in Pocahontas. Walkers raising $25 or more receive a commerative Walk T-shirt. There are no registration fees. All proceeds remain in Arkansas to serve the needs of Arkansas caregivers. Activities will include: entertainment provided by the Marylynn's Clogging Co. and The StillBilly's and a Parade of Pets pet show, which begins at 9 a.m.
