Winter Wonderland
- Lighted parade from the high school to Main Street. at 6:30 PM. The arrival of Santa Claus at Don Flansburg Park is one of the highlights. Luminaries will line Georgia Street in downtown Louisiana and church bells will ring prior to the start of the parade. Other highlights include the lighting of the city Christmas tree. Church Walk
- The Louisiana Area Historical Museum hosts the annual Christmas Mid-town Church Walk starting at the Bethel A.M.E. Church. After a 15 minute program at each Church, all "Walk" attendees walk as a group to the Christian Church, Disciples of Christ, First Baptist Church, Centenary United Methodist Church, Calvary Episcopal Church, and First Presbyterian Church. After the 15 minute program at the Presbyterian Church, cookies and warm cider is served by the Louisiana Area Historical Museum Board of Directors. The Church Walk is free, with a one-time passing of a plate for a free-will offering for the Museum.
