6 Annual Run/Walk/Ride with Walker Event - The annual Run/Walk/Ride with Walker event will have a 1 mile, 5k, 10k, 15 mile course. All the proceeds will go to the families in our county and surrounding counties who are battling cancer (childhood cancer ages birth to 18). We will have a silent auction, food, and a fun time had by all. It will also provide a fun run and fun ride for families to just come out and enjoy time with family. The location is at the Farmington High School lobby or the Farmington Centene Center still being determined. It will begin at 8am, and usually concludes around 12:00 noon.

20 Farmington/Kiwanis Community Yard Sale -
The Farmington Kiwanis Club will be hosting its Farmington Kiwanis Community Yard Sale.

Kiwanis will provide the rental spaces and publicity.

The yard sale will be held May 3 in the St. Francois County Courthouse annex parking lot.

A rain date is scheduled for May 10.

27 Annual Wiggle & Giggle Fishing Derby - Signaling the arrival of spring is our annual Wiggle & Giggle Fishing Derby for kids. This event unites Farmington's young and old at Hager Lake for a family outdoor event. Open to children under the age of 14 and must be accompanied by an adult with a valid fishing license.The derby, cosponsored by the Farmington Kiwanis and Taylor Funeral Service, begins at 7:30 am with the contest beginning promptly at 8:00 am. Prizes are awarded in several categories at 11:00am. For all of the details, call us or check out your favorite media source in April. The Farmington Parks & Recreation Department and the sponsors are pleased to produce this free event for all the children of the area.

16 - 19 Country Days - Join us for a fun weekend for the whole family at the annual Country Days festival. You'll enjoy exhibits and crafts, outdoor entertainment, great music, street performers, and plenty of competition for runners, walkers, and bed-racers!

Major musical surprises await you in both Long Park and around town, including a free concert featuring top-named Nashville entertainment on Saturday night at Long Park.

Country Days will feature your favorites, like the fantastic McDonald's Country Days parade, the classic car show, an antique tractor show, an awesome midway, Corporate Games, great food, the Auffenberg All-Star Talent Show, and so much more!

Remember to wear your Country Days button because the Country Days Sheriff and his Deputy will be looking for folks to throw in the Hoosegow!

Little Caesars Moonlight Bike Ride meets on Friday night for the exhilarating experience of a bike ride under the light of the moon.

17 Little Caesars Moonlight Bike Ride - Air up the tires and oil the chain, the Little Caesars annual Moonlight Bike Ride is on track during Farmington's Country Days festival. Meet us on Friday night for the exhilarating experience of a bike ride under the light of the moon.

All riders must have an approved light and reflectors on their bike, and children under 14 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Registration begins at 10:30pm, and we hope to see you there! By the way, it's free, and there are prizes. Weather Permitting.

23 Christmas in Farmington - Plan now to attend and participate in the annual Christmas activities kicking off with the Christmas Parade on Saturday.

"Winter Wonderland" opens after the parade at Long Memorial Hall in Farmington with Santa and Mrs. Claus' home away from home, weekdays from 6:00pm - 8:00pm. Winter Wonderland features the largest G-Scale Christmas Train Set in the area. Winter Wonderland is open to the public for viewing weekdays from 8:00am - 4:30pm. If you have a group or organization interested in scheduling a private viewing of Winter Wonderland on a weekday, feel free to give us a call to set up a time.
