12 Spring Militia Muster - Demonstrations will include artillery and musket firings, pottery making, weaving, period medical/doctor, butter churning, music, and dancing. Try your hand at quill pen writing, 18th century toys and games, and cotton ginning. Help plant the sites herb and vegetable garden, and plant something to take home and raise yourself. 11 am - 3 pm. 26 - 27 Revolutionary War Battle Reenactment at House in the Horseshoe - Relive the Revolutionary War skirmish that left bullet holes throughout the home of Whig Colonel Phillip Alston. Encampment of soldiers and families, artillery and small arms demonstrations, craft demonstrations. Concessions available or bring your own picnic.
