Yadkin Valley Wine Festival
- Come to the 19th Annual Yadkin Valley Wine Festival on May 21, 2022 in Elkin, NC. Come SAVOR wine from over 16 Yadkin Valley Wineries & Vineyards, enjoy great music all day, great food and WONDERFUL memories.Music: The Castaways from 1:00pm - 5:00pm Buy your ticket(s) to the Yadkin Valley Wine Festival and experience Elkin and the Yadkin Valley. A limited number of VIP Tickets are available this year which includes shorter lines to access festival, VIP Parking, Festival T-Shirt and access to the VIP Hospitality Tent where you can enjoy Yadkin Valley cooking. Yadkin Valley Tour De Vino
- With four great and sometimes challenging rides, there is something for everyone. The rides are a 31, 50, 71 or 100 mile scenic ride into parts of Surry, Wilkes, Yadkin and even a touch of Alleghany counties of North Carolina. The ride gets its name for passing several vineyards and wineries in the Yadkin Valley wine region. Then returning to Elkin where showers and a post ride meal are waiting for you, and one of the finest wine festivals is going on at the park next to the return area. The Yadkin Valley Wine Festival. Annual Yadkin Valley Pumpkin Festival
- The Annual Yadkin Valley Pumpkin Festival held in Historic Downtown Elkin the 4th Saturday in September from 9:00am – 4:00pm. The festivities begin Saturday morning with the Annual Great Pumpkin Weigh-Off on corner of Bridge and Standard Street. There will be pumpkins & watermelon from growers located all over the East Coast. Some will weigh-in at an excess of 1,000 lbs with hopes of placing in the Great Pumpkin Commonwealth top ten. The Main Street of Elkin will be lined with vendors of every description featuring everything from antiques, jump houses, funnel cakes to functional pottery, pumpkin painting, wood furnishings to wine racks, BBQ to baked goods, sand art, pumpkin butter to polish sausages, hand crafted gifts and so much more.
