Museum of Ceramics- Ohio Historical Society
- The East Liverpool Museum of Ceramics houses an extensive collection of wares produced by America's Crockery City. Related displays on the social, political, and economic history of this town show the impact of the ceramic industry on the community. Located in the former city post office, the museum is a graphic example of adaptive use of old buildings. Museum exhibits include dioramas depicting pottery making and a video on the history of the pottery industry. Tri-State Pottery Festival
- Join us at our Annual Tri-State Pottery Festival as we come together to celebrate our rich pottery heritage. East Liverpool, "The Crockery City", has been known as the Pottery Capital of the World for over one hundred years transforming clay into works of art. Held the third week-end in June, the Festival offers amusement rides for the family, Doorknob Tossing Competition, Pottery Olympics, displays and exhibits of locally made ware, and a wide variety of food and live entertainment daily. Museum of Ceramics Annual Kids Fun Fiesta
- Crafts, games, scavenger hunts, claymation movies, treats, and prizes for area school children ages 6 and up. Brad Cowsert will be doing face-painting again! Jeff Hendrickson will also bring his unusual wooden toy collection again. Kids will be able to try their hands at our professional potter's wheel--it is messy but a lot of fun! Museum of Ceramics Historic Lecture Series #3:
- Lecture begins at 1:30pm Saturday Nov. 13th at the Museum of Ceramics in East Liverpool. The lecture will reveal incites from Attorney Hendrickson's visit to Eldreth Pottery in Oxford, Pennsylvania this past August. The 35-person pottery combines elements of art pottery and industrial ceramics, in the heart of Pennsylvania Dutch County. Refreshments will be served after the lecture.
