26 Waynesville's Spring Antique Show - Waynesville's Spring Antique Show will be held on Memorial Day Sunday from 9AM - 4PM RAIN OR SHINE! This show is presented by Waynesville Merchants Association. The Antique Show was designed with the purpose of bringing antique buyers to the Village of Waynesville. Buyers attending the show for the first time would be introduced to the many already established Antique Shops of Waynesville plus visiting dealers from all over! These buyers will also discover the numerous other specialty shops, art galleries, furniture stores and restaurants in the Village. 7 - 9 Ole Tyme Music Festival at Caesar's Creek Pioneer Village - The Ole Tyme Music Festival brings together musicians from around the region to play a variety of old time music in the perfect setting (a village of restored log structures). The Village's 3 stage areas operate non-stop with Appalachian, Bluegrass, Gospel and Celtic Music while impromptu jam sessions occur wherever the mood strikes. Old-Time Fiddle and Banjo Contests, Contra Dancing, Shape Note Singing, Storytelling, Clogging, Folk Dancing and Music Workshops add to the fun. Bring your banjo, guitar, dulcimer, etc. and join in the fun or just come to enjoy some of your favorite tunes played the old time way. While you are here, sample some of the home-cooked food and hand-made crafts.

20 Meteor Shower Campout at Caesar Creek State Park - Bring your lawn chair and blanket to Caesars Creek and watch Natures Fireworks as shooting stars brighten the summer skies. 7 Waynesville Street Faire - The Waynesville Street Faire features 40+ Artisan, Antique, Vintage Style & Unique vendors who are setting up in the street to bring what they love, to share with visitors and talk about the joy of the items they are selling. We’ll have music of course, and a local farmers market as well.
Booths with crafts, quilts, pottery, textiles, art, antiques, vintage style, and other unique products will be for sale from talented people throughout our neighboring communities. Save the dates for our Summer Street Faire Events. Get out for the day and come to Waynesville where you can meet the people behind the passion for what they are creating and the products they have chosen to sell. There’ll be something for everyone and yes, of course, plenty of food and drink to wet your whistle while walking around this quaint little town.
In addition to the event vendors, Waynesville is home to some of the most wonderful and amazing gift and specialty shops, home decor and farmhouse style locations, antique shops and malls, art galleries and restaurants. 14 - 15 Civil War Encampment at Caesar's Creek Pioneer Village - Learn about the life of a soldier in 1863. Groups re-enacting soldiers representing infantry, artillery, and cavalry units from Ohio and other states will be camped in the Village. The soldiers will have their encampments around the Village and will be helping us by presenting a living history of the Civil War. They will be giving presentations about different aspects of the Civil War from how life was to what weapons were used and medical treatments which were common practice in the day. See the units square off on the battlefield each afternoon.

5 - 6 Annual Ohio Sauerkraut Festival - Celebrate the humble cabbage with traditional sauerkraut dishes and crazy concoctions such as sauerkraut ice cream, or enjoy traditional dishes such as Reubens and Kraut Dogs. Plus, with over 460 selected craft vendors, music, and entertainment, this annual festival is one of the largest arts and crafts shows in America. 9:00am. Second full weekend of September.

12 - 13 Harvest Festival at Caesar's Creek Pioneer Village - Come celebrate the harvest as it once was in the 1800's. The Village will be preparing for winter by making apple butter, hominy, candles, with demonstrations showing Pioneer life. You can learn from our Village members all of the different things which they would have to do in order to be prepared for the Winter months in Ohio. Make this a harvest to remember!
