21 - 23 Scissortail Creative Writing Festival - Fifty poets and authors from Oklahoma and beyond will read from their original work on the campus of East Central University in Ada. Sessions run all day Thursday and Friday, 9:30 am -- 6:30 pm. and on Saturday, 8:30 am. to 1pm. All sessions are free to the public. Book sales and signings available.

14 Annual PEC Day - The annual PEC Day will have craft booths and food booths. We will have several kids activities including pony rides, fire department dunk tank, kid novelty items, drug awareness program, Ada Shriners and Clowns among others. There will also be live musical entertainment during the event. Four area entertainers will be performing. 9 a.m. - 3 p.m.

14 Annual Blue Moon Car and Motorcycle Show - Head to the Blue Moon Car Show in Ada to see rows of cars, trucks and motorcycles that have been beautifully maintained and upgraded.
