Dedication of Veterans Memorial

A 500 pound WWII Air Force bomb, that was donated by a local veteran, will be dedicated to fallen veterans on the front lawn of the Mountaineer Museum. The Museum is housed in the Historic Weston Colored School.

A Civil War Reenactment of one of the most important events in West Virginia's history will be held Saturday, June 24, 2006. On June 30, 1861, $27,000 (approximately a half a million dollars today)
