17 Peoria Tribe of Indians of Oklahoma Stomp Dance - This annual event features traditional Native American dancing. There will be a dinner at 5 p.m. The stomp dance will begin at 7 p.m. Bring your lawn chairs and make yourself comfortable.

If you would like to bring your new or gently used items and let us sell them for you, please contact us. You will receive 65-70% of your sales and get to shop before the public. Anyone with children's items may be a consignor (seller). You get to price your items then bring them to us to sell for you, then you will receive a check within 2 weeks.

Volunteer
Volunteer with us for a 3 hour shift and shop before the public and before the sellers. You do not need to be a consignor in order to volunteer.

30 - 1 Annual Ottawa Pow Wow and Celebration - Celebrate the culture of the Ottawa tribe at this fun-filled event over Labor Day weekend. Friday night there will be a gourd dance at 7:00pm and a stomp dance at 8:00pm. On Saturday, enjoy a turkey dance at 10:00am followed by a camp feast at noon and then return for the evening session which will include a gourd dance at 7:00pm and a war dance at 8:00pm. On Sunday, the Indian Junior Olympics will be held at 10:00am and the evening session will include a gourd dance at 7:00pm and a war dance at 8:00pm. Authentic Indian traders, food concessions, and grandstand seating in a covered arena make this a great event for the whole family. The celebration will be held at Adawe Indian Park which is 5 miles east and 1 mile south of Miami, Oklahoma.

The event features Native American Tribal Dance Demonstrations, storytelling and singing; Best of the Best Fancy Dance Championship, Junior Division Tribal Dance Competition, Stomp Dance, Indian Taco & Dessert Fry Bread Cook-off, Arts and Crafts Show, Car Show, 5K Run, Chili Cook-off & Tasting, gospel singing at The Sunday Gathering, Kidz Alley and live entertainment throughout the weekend.
