11 - 12 Kingfisher County Spring Livestock Show - The Kingfisher Chamber of Commerce, the Kingfisher County Fairboard, and the Kingfisher County Commissioners are pleased to offer this show to the 4-H and FFA members of Kingfisher County. If you enjoy participating in this show, please remember to thank these individuals and the other business men and women in your community, who unselfishly give their time and/or monetary support to you. With their continued investments, it is possible to continue this show for the same reasons and in the same manner in which it was started 86 years ago---for the youth of Kingfisher County.

4 Independence Day Celebration - A "Star Spangled Celebration" will be held in Kingfisher beginning with The Independence Day Parade at 10 a.m.. Enjoy a free swim at Kingfisher Aquatic Center from 12-4 p.m.. Events at Kingfisher Park @ 5 p.m., include face painting, turtle races, balloon toss, coin dig, watermelon feed, and free concert immediately followed by a fantastic fireworks show set to music at dark. There will be great food, great music, games and fun for everyone.

3 Kool Kars in Kingfisher Car Show - Car Show and Annual Krazy Days Festival. Over 150 great cars were here last year and we hope to have more this year. Drive through the park or take a trip on our miniature train to see the over 70 displays and over 2 million lights! On weekends there are horse-drawn carriage rides too. View our exquisitely lit, 100 year old swinging bridge and many more beautifully designed displays. And as always . . . admission is FREE!

Opening Day is Saturday after Thanksgiving. Kingfisher in Lights operates through December 26th. Every night of the week is illuminated by the spirit of Christmas.

13 - 12 Christmas at the Governor Seay Mansion and the Museum Village - Visit the Governor Seay mansion decorated for Christmas. During this special open house you can tour all the rooms in the mansion. Spiced tea, coffee and cookies will be served. You can also enjoy the Christmas carols being sung in the music room. The Chisholm Trail Museum will celebrate an old fashioned Christmas with the log cabins, church, bank and school house decorated for your enjoyment.

This building was constructed in 1900 by the Anheuser Busch Brewing Association of St. Louis, Missouri. In 1922, the building was restored similar to its original appearance by Pioneer Telephone Cooperative, Inc.
