June

25 Lovelands Amazing Race - This event was unlike anything ever done in Loveland in its first year (2006) and we are laughing ourselves silly coming up with new fun challenges.

It is not a triathlon or a 5K race. It is not limited to runners or highly athletic individuals. It is a race in that it has a start and finish line but along the way it challenges the contestants in many ways. It is a fun, quirky, adventure that rambles through Loveland and challenges the contestants agility, balance, coordination, strength, intelligence, problem solving skills, fine motor skills, and most important their sense of humor.

Have a great time for a good cause and as always expect the unexpected. All racers must provide a road worthy bicycle and helmet for the biking portion.

16 - 15 Loveland Castle - A one-fifth scale of an actual 16th Century medieval castle. Built by Harry D. Andrews, over a period of 51 years. The Loveland Castle, also known as "Chateau Laroche" was built as an expression and reminder of the simple strength and rugged grandeur of the mighty men who lived when Knighthood was in flower. It was their knightly zeal for honor, valor and manly purity that lifted mankind out of the moral midnight of the dark ages, and started it towards a gray down of human hope. Enjoy a tour to hear of one man's dream and the fulfillment of "The Knights of the Golden Trail". Winter hours: weekends only.
