Fun Facts: This is the place to see many unique and fascinating cars. Antique cars, including some from the 1930s and new ones are entered in the event.. 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

4 4th of July Fun! - 7:00 AM Sainty Sharks Swim Team; hosting a triathlon (swim, bike, run) at St. Francis Swimming pool 211 S. Cherry St.
7:00 to 9:00 AM Cheyenne County Wildlife Inc. is hosting a Young Patriots Fishing Derby at Keller's Pond. All girls and boys 15 years and younger are invited to fish. Located 1/4 mile northwest of St. Francis on River St.
10:00 to 10:15 AM Red, White, and Blue Childrens Parade at Sawhill Park (downtown). All children 6th grade and younger (bikes, trikes, & wagons, no motorized vehicles)
10:15 to NOON Childrens games at Sawhill Park. Also enjoy Laser Tag for all ages.
10:30 to 1:30 PM Band from St. Francis will preform in the Band Shell at Sawhill Park (downtown)
11:30 to 1:30 PM All American "Hot Dog Meal" open to all, in front of Uptown Meat Market. Located downtown at 413 E. Washington St.

2:00 PM Cheyenne County Cruisers are hosting The America The Beautiful Ride and Drive Road Rally and Poker Run. Begins at Sawhill Park (downtown). Route is St. Francis to Atwood to Colby to Goodland and back to St. Francis. All motorcycles, cars, and pickups are welcome. Registration from 1:00 to 2:00 at the park.

30 - 3 Cheyenne County Fair - The first week in August county residents flock to the fair. At the fair, 4-Her's exhibit projects ranging from livestock, to photography. An old fashion Saturday morning parade with floats, clowns, and horses, and nightly entertainment makes it fun for the entire family. The well maintained home-owned carnival features games and rides, run by local volunteers. 4-H 9am; rides 6:30-11:30pm.

20 Tumbleweed Round Up - The annual Tumbleweed Roundup is a presentation of poetry, storytelling, and musical performances supplied by local talents. 2:00 - 4:00 PM and 7:00 - 9:00 PM.

2 Fall Craft Show - The Fall Craft Show is the perfect place to pick up homemade Christmas gifts and enjoy others' handiwork. A large variety of high quality, hand-made crafts are always at the show. Vendors from several states rent tables at the show and many of the vendors return year after year. First Saturday in November, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The museum features a diorama complete with prehistoric fossils uncovered locally. This diorama shows life as it progressed over the millenia on the High Plains, and includes furniture and period exhibits of frontier life. All of the exhibits are of Cheyenne County history.
