18 Hobo Days - Don't miss Hobo Days at the T&OC Railroad Station in Bucyrus. This exciting family event is filled with crafters, a farmers market, real hobo's, a hobo band, tours of the station, food, kiddie train rides and more. 31 - 1 Relay For Life - The Relay for Life is a special event that celebrates life. From the Opening Ceremonies to the closing service, every moment is filled with exciting adventures.  The Survivor Walk and meal, competitive games, entertainment, food, a luminary service, campsite decorations winners, Loren's hugs for a cure, and many other activities make this an event for everyone.  Proceeds help fund research to find a cure for cancer during. Previous Relay for Life Events brought over $180,000 was raised.

13 - 15 Crawford Antique Farm Machinery Show - Join us for the Crawford Antique Farm Machinery Show. This very special event features farm machinery of all ages, crafts, quilts, entertainment, tractor parade, contests, homemade ice cream, pork chop BBQ, children's games, tractor pull and fun for all ages. Tour the newly opened Crawford Farm Machinery Museum.  Many vintage tractors and farm machinery on display.

15 - 20 Crawford County Fair - The Crawford County Fair offers a great time for visitors of all ages. The fair is filled with fun and excitement for yound and old alike.  Enjoy senior and junior fair exhibitors; livestock shows; harness racing; entertainment at the grandstand; 4-H livestock competition; and a 4-H style revue. This year's fair includes booths consisting of 4-H, vo-ag., grange, commercial, clubs, flower shows, culinary displays and competition.

27 Bucyrus Historical Museum Day - The Bucyrus Historical Society Museum sponsors the Historical Day each year on the last Saturday of July for guests to renew their heritage and experience workmanship from yesterday.  Rennselaer Street beside the Museum will be closed to traffic for the day and the crafters and vendors will set up along the street.  There will be broom making, wood carving, homemade ice cream, food vendors, farm market, and a Monkey Grinder.  Vendors change from year to year.  Tours of the Museum and Carriage House will be conducted all day.

15 - 17 Bucyrus Bratwurst Festival - Three full days of entertainment, three parades, contests, Best "Wurst" Bike Ride, craft show, art show, queens pageant, Speakeasy Production, amusement rides, polka tent, lots of grilled bratwurst and other foods. Bucyrus is the Bratwurst Capital of America and this is known as Ohio's "Eattingest"  Festival. Always held on the full third weekend of August.

19 Holy Trinity Calico Craft Show - Join us for this holiday craft show featuring up to 83 crafters. You'll find a wealth of quality items for sale that are all hand crafted. And in addition to all the great shopping, enjoy a continental breakfast and lunch. The lunch includes homemade noodle soup, salads, sandwiches, and desserts. 

And don't forget the Church's large bake sale including homemade noodles, all kinds of holiday candy, and baked goods!

25 Bucyrus Community Hospital Gift Shop Open House - Each year the Bucyrus Community Hospital Gift Shop holds a Holiday Open House.  This year it will be extra special as the new addition to the hospital will be open to the public.  The new addition includes a new front entryway, new cafeteria area, new gift shop and many new areas for the hospital departments. Visitors can enjoy the Holiday Open House and have lunch in the new spacious cafeteria plus view the new areas of the hospital.

28 Christmas Candlelight Shopping Festivities Downtown Bucyrus - Each Holiday Season on the first Thursday of December Bucyrus lines the streets with luminaries for their Downtown Candlelight Shopping and Festivities.  Stores are open from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. with special sales on their merchandise, refreshments, and give aways.  There are horse drawn carriage rides, carolers roaming the street, with local organization vendors along the streets, offering popcorn, bratwurst sandwiches, hot soups, bake and  candy sales, etc.

The Bucyrus Tourism & Visitors' Bureau has goody bags for each family, door prize drawings and they serve mulled cider and cookies.

Santa is located in his house for the young and old to visit.  The store windows are decorated with special lights.  This event is sponsored by the Bucyrus Area Business Association.

Go back in time with a visit to Harvey School.  This school was open for students 1876 to 1918.  A group of interested people formed a committee, Friends of Harvey School,  to restore this school and open it for the educational purposes of  keeping
