RiverWalk Crossing Summer Concert Series
- The RiverWalk Crossing Summer Concert Series is now in full swing at 8:00 pm. This concert series, which draws 3,000-4,000 people a night has been a stunning success. This 5 month series features some of the finest entertainment in the area. In an effort to appeal to a wide audience, the series features a diverse type of music while including a few traditional groups. Though the concert officially runs from 8:00-10:00pm, the concert-goers begin arriving as early as 6:00pm to select a space and enjoy the evening. Lawn chairs and blankets are welcome. Sleep With The Sharks
- The Oklahoma Aquarium offers lot of ways to have a great time with us, but one of our favorites is our Slumber Under the Sea sleepovers! These events are great family fun for all ages and after all, who would want to miss a chance to sleep with our sharks! Imagine falling asleep alongside a soothing Coral Reef, or waking up to a Bull Shark swimming right overhead! Our sleepovers are a splash with activities, snacks, movies and maybe even a little sleep. You can slumber under the sea with your whole family, or kids 8 to 14 can attend unchaperoned. The event begins at 6:00pm to the next morning! Our sleepovers are held twice a year in spring to kick-off our Splash Break, and our HallowMarine kick-off in the fall. Jenks America Freedom Fest
- Come to downtown Jenks July 4 for a fun-filled day of food, music and celebration. A Hot August Night Car & Truck Show
- The annual night car show will be held this year on the grounds of the Oklahoma Aquarium. Trophies will be awarded to the Top Three in each category. Dash plaques for the first 100 entries! Art on Main
- Thousands of artist enthusiasts from across the state and region converge on Jenks Main street for this one-of-a-kind event, which will take place on Jenks Main Street from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Art on Main features 100 Oklahoma artists and wineries displaying and selling their creations. Mediums will range from drawings, glass, jewelry, painting and photography. Artists and wineries will be confirmed in early September, including art, wine and entertainment. There will be a children's section. Bounce Pro Rentals are yet again sponsoring and organizing the children's area. They will have multiple inflatables and attractions for kids creating a great day activity for the whole family. In the past, this event has been awarded the Oklahoma Community Institute's "Outstanding Community Improvement Initiative" award, recognizing the event for its contribution to the Jenks community. Celebrate Freedom Big Band Hangar Dance
- Celebrate Freedom on Saturday with the Spirit of Tulsa Squadron of the Commemorative Air Force sponsoring their annual 'Celebrate Freedom' Big Band Hangar Dance.The hangar doors open at 6 pm. From 6:30 to 7:30 pm, enjoy free swing dance lessons, a Silent Auction, PX, pre-show and salute to Veterans. The 18-piece Big Band, 'Sounds of Music', and their talented singers will thrill you with their music from 7:30-11 pm. Serving as backdrops will be a variety of vintage airplanes and vehicles of that period adding a special ambiance to the dance. Dress is casual, military, or you are encouraged to dress in the 40's style. Come and enjoy this special evening to dance the night away or just enjoy the sounds of the Big Band Era.
